Ingredients
- 100g Plain Flour
- 1tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 1tbsp Herbs
- 1tsp Pepper
- 1tsp Salt
- 2 eggs
- Panko Breadcrumbs
- 450g Halloumi
- Vegetable Oil
Method
Pastry
- Cut the halloumi into chip sizes.
- Make up 3 bowls. Add eggs to one, flour and spices to the other and the breadcrumbs to the third.
- Add the halloumi to the eggs, then the flour then the breadcrumbs and cover.
- Add enough oil to to a pan so the halloumi will be totally covered. Get it up to 180 Celcius
- Cook for 90 seconds, don’t overcrowd the pan.
- Once cooked add to a rack with gaps so it doesnt go soggy
